Hammerwich Latest - June 2012 Sign In or Register to add photos

Not a lot has changed since last month (May), other than there is much more undergrowth growing on and around the trackbed. One change we have noticed since June last year, is that there are much more young tree saplings growing between the sleepers. These young trees are Birch, Alder and Ash. The medow between the station and Hammerwich church is now in full flower, although this year the white daisy type flower seems to be more dominate. Quattro havn't ventured any further than the M6 Toll bridge. so the track from this point to Hammerwich footbridge is very undergrown.
