Posted by ROB on February 10, 2013 at 12:30 PM

David Moore a local historian, has uploaded some fantastic historic photos to his Flickr account, of engineering/ maintenance works to the water pipe line which runs along the South Staffordshire Line, Lichfield to walsall.

David's main interest is the preservation of Sandfields Pumping Station in Lichfield, its well worth checking out his site - Sandfields Pumping Station

The story of the works on the pipe line in 1927, can be found at the Brownhills Blog, written by top blogger "Brownhills Bob".
