Class 37 @ Lichfield City Add Video

2Q88E running a Derby R.T.C to Derby R.T.C measurement train. Derby to Derby R.T.C via Lichfield City, Birmingham New Street, Bescot, Soho, Kings and Barnt Green. Class 37 + TIC (DB 999508) + Class 37. The path of this train was booked to pass Lichfield City at 1831, but it was delayed at Derby by 75mins. The class 37's where 37601 and 37608. This was a amended additional service, operated by DB-S (DB Sckenker) on behalf of NDS IM & Grinding. The operation of the loco hauled TIC (Track Inpection Coach DB 999508) which is covering for the TRU (Track Recording Unit - 950 001) on this occasion.

I remember when Lichfield City saw 37's on a regular basis, taking the heated oil up to Charringtons oil refinery.
